How the Project was Carried Out

Over two years the Project consortium, managed by Dundee and Angus College (formerly Angus College), has discussed themes such as adapting to e-learning and redefining soft skills learning bytes for different target groups, how to provide guidance and mentoring for soft skills development, how to test products within companies and using national networks to disseminate results.  A range of products has been published to the Project website including desktop research on soft skills in Europe, employer research and needs analysis to review the most important soft skills; a range of learning resources and programmes of online activity; a Train the Trainer package; and the online e learning platform.

Self Awareness is the first module on the e-learning platform.  It is a propedeutical activity in which users identify strengths and weaknesses.  After completing that and filling in a self assessment tool, participants go on to, Planning and Organising.  The consortium has continued to publish further courses in Communication and Working with Others, however they are not included as part of this evaluation.
